#Hariini #Today I wanna write about one of School Korean Drama, Dream High. This drama has 2 seasons. Season 1 produced in 2011 and season 2 in 2012. And both of these seasons stared by different actors and storylines.

I will write about Dream High season 1. I thought the storyline of season 1 more interesting than season 2, and also the actors. 

Dream High (Korean: 드림하이) is a 2011 South Korean television series broadcast starring miss A's Bae Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, T-ara's Ham Eun Jung, IU, and 2PM's Ok Taecyeon and Jang Woo Young. 

The drama was popular among teenagers and brought in viewership ratings in the 18 to 20% range during its two-month run. A special episode, where the cast of the show performed the Dream High Special Concert on a stage near Seoul, was aired on March 1, 2011, the day after the series ended.

Its sequel Dream High 2 aired a year later with a different cast.

She originally wanted to become an opera singer but is forced to take up mainstream pop to pay off her father's debt to a gangster.

A country bumpkin who is a music prodigy with a rare disease.

• Ok Taecyeon as Jin-guk/Hyun Shi-hyuk
  • Kang Yi Seok as young Jin-guk (ep 2, 5, 10)

He has a contentious relationship with his father the Mayor who hasn't acknowledged him as his son.

• Ham Eun Jung as Yoon Baek-hee

Formerly best friends with Hye-mi, the two become bitter enemies when Hye-mi betrays Baek-hee during an audition.

• Jang Woo Young as Jason

An American-born dancer who plans on making his entertainment debut in Korea.

• IU as Kim Pil-sook

She was discouraged from pursuing music because she was shy and overweight. She also has the gift of perfect pitch.

"Dream High" takes place at Kirin High School of Art and follows the lives of students as they aspire to become superstars.

Song Sam-Dong (Kim Soo Hyun) lives in the countryside and dreams of becoming an owner of a stock farm. He falls in love with Go Hye-Mi (Bae Suzy) at first sight and follows her to Kirin High School of Art. There he discovers his genius like musical talent.

Jin-Gook (Ok Taecyeon) is a gifted dancer, but a troubled student at school. The director of Kirin High School of Art (Bae Yong Joon) recommends to Jin-Gook to enroll at his school. There, Jin-Gook's talents blossom and he now dreams of becoming a global star.

Exchange student Jason (Jang Woo Young) comes to Kirin High after receiving the top score for new applicants. He comes from abroad and shows outstanding skills as a dancer.

Go Hye-Mi (Bae Suzy) is the most popular girl at Kirin High. She carries herself as a confident girl but inside hides a sad past. She dreamed of becoming a world-renown classical vocalist, but after the collapse of her family, she had no choice but to enter Kirin High School of Art. She is loved by Song Sam-Dong and Jin-Gook.

Yoon Baek Hee (Ham Eun Jung) looks up to Ko Hye-Mi, who appears to have everything. They soon become rivals.

I like this drama because of the storyline, the actors, and the original soundtrack (OST). One of OST of Dream High which I like was "Dreaming" sang by Song Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun). I thought the lyric was so good which told about a motivation to reach your dream. Check out this video and lyric:
